First Day Hike at McGee Creek State Park

Join the staff of McGee Creek State Park for an invigorating New Year's Day hike. Meet at the T-Hill Campground at 1pm for a moderate, 1.4-mile hike on the Potapo Trail. Bring along your leashed pets, binoculars, water, camera and weather-appropriate gear for a cool-weather hike. Coffee and other refreshments will be available at T Hill Campground.
The event is in conjunction with the America's State Parks First Day Hikes initiative that will take place in all 50 states. This nationwide event encourages hikers to start the year off on the right foot with a trek through a state park.
