Discover the culinary distinctions between Oklahoma's 39 Native American tribes at Thirty Nine Restaurant, located at the First Americans Museum in Oklahoma City. Created by Regional Executive Chef Brad Harris and Emmy award-winning Chef Loretta Barrett Oden (Citizen Potawatomi Nation), the menu strives to honor traditional, Indigenous ingredients while providing a modern dining experience. Vegan and gluten-free options are also available.

Begin your order with corn ribs, an appetizer topped with sumac rub, brown butter, smoked jalapeno aioli, cilantro, queso fresco and chili oil. If you're visiting for brunch, opt for the buffalo pastrami benedict – house-made biscuits covered in buffalo and venison sausage gravy, scrambled eggs and scallions. Lunch goers should try the FAMous bison burger or three sisters saute – a mixed dish of heirloom beans, corn, squash, indigenous grains, wild rice, sage-pinon pesto, green onions and amaranth.

Pair your meal with a "rez dog," a cocktail featuring Same Old Moses Small Batch bourbon, ginger simple syrup, bitters and a barely charred sage leaf. Thirty Nine Restaurant also boasts two dessert options – sweet corn & lavender crème brûlée or Bedre chocolate sponge cake.
