Experience the commerce of the wild frontier as re-enactors take visitors back to the time of fur trappers and traders during the Rendezvous, held at the Fort Washita Historic Site near Durant. Learn about the lifestyle of the time period between 1820 and 1850 through trappers and traders, mountain men, demonstrations and more. Experience the past through storytellers and watch Chickasaw stomp dance, stickball and more. Concessions will be available on site with traditional food samples offered Thursday and Friday. Head to the Fort Washita Historic Site to learn about history through engaging activities.
