Tour of the Wichita’s offers a beautiful cycling ride through the Wichita Wildlife Refuge and mountains and the historic Fort Sill Army Post — all near Lawton. The bike ride takes you through some of the most enchanting and historic scenery in southwest Oklahoma. The routes begin near the Fort Sill Museum and pass by some of southwest Oklahoma’s most scenic and important historical properties. The longer rides also pass the Visitor Center in the Wichita Mountains Wildlife Refuge.

Before trying to conquer all the Wichita Mountains, please choose your ride responsibly. Be mindful of the distance and your endurance in the hot June temperatures. Plan to be at the finish line before 2pm the day of the ride to enjoy the fellowship and snacks with fellow cyclists.
