Day 1 - Lake Murray State Park, Ardmore

Lake Murray State Park is the oldest and largest state park in Oklahoma. Get started early with forest trails, sparkling waters, golf, water sports, a beautiful lodge, cabins, cottages, and the Tucker Tower Nature Center—an iconic structure originally built as a retreat for Oklahoma governors&mdash. There is something for everyone at Lake Murray State Park. After a long morning of activity, take the short trek to Ardmore to grab lunch at the Hamburger Inn, established in 1938. Spend a couple of hours shopping downtown or watching a newly released film before hitting The Clubhouse. This family entertainment center boasts tree houses, an arcade area, mini golf, go karts, and more. Take supper at Two Frogs Grill; it’s an Ardmore favorite.
