While visiting the Oklahoma City metro, catch the Oklahoma City Streetcar to embark on an all-day excursion across downtown districts. Since the fleet’s arrival in December 2018, the streetcar has simplified connections between nearby museums, shop, restaurants and parks.

Start with a poignant and fascinating visit to the Oklahoma City National Memorial & Museum as the first stop on your tour of Oklahoma City. After walking through the Outdoor Symbolic Memorial’s Gates of Time and reading survivors’ stories inside the museum, move onto the Memorial Museum platform and head south on the streetcar’s Downtown Loop.

Head into the Business District, and treat yourself to an express facial or foot soak at Udånder before grabbing a table at Kitchen No. 324. Before awaiting the next streetcar arrival at the platform, be sure to customize a latte or iced coffee at Stella Nova Coffee or create a protein-packed quinoa bowl or salad at Coolgreens.

Take a seat or stand inside the streetcar, and look beyond the windows while riding past Prairie Surf Studios on your way into the Bricktown Entertainment District. Guests can navigate through Bricktown and get a Bird’s-Eye View with a trip along the Bricktown Loop before heading past the Paycom Center, home of the Oklahoma City Thunder NBA Basketball Team, onward to blossoming flowers at Myriad Botanical Gardens.

Then, check out views of the towering, 50-story Devon Tower and its 49th-floor restaurant, Vast, on the way to the Ronald J. Norick Downtown Library stop. Here, guests can hop off to utilize genealogical resources before making a quick trek over to the Oklahoma City Museum of Art or Civic Center Music Hall. Visitors can also reenergize with a tea latte or house-made hot chocolate found at Clarity Coffee or fuel up with a meal at Thai Kitchen. Walk over to Bar Arbolada next for a seasonal cocktail before continuing along your downtown streetcar tour.

Next up, satiate rumbling bellies over in the Automobile Alley Entertainment District. Venture over to S&B’s Burger Joint, Iguana Mexican Grill or Katiebug’s Sips & Sweets before snapping a photo in front of the Braid Mural and Mix-Tape at Factory Obscura. After stocking up on gifts at Common Dear, OKcollective Candle Co. and Shop Good, explore Oklahoma Contemporary Arts Center’s Campbell Art Park.

From there, rest your feet with a streetcar ride over to the Midtown District stop for dinner at James E McNellie’s Public House or Barrios Fine Mexican Dishes, drinks at Fassler Hall OKC, O Bar and R&J Lounge and Supper Club or a group puzzle-solving experience at Baker Street Escapes. Finally, wrap up the day with a sweet treat from Kaiser’s Grateful Bean Café or Capitals Ice Cream before your final streetcar ride back to your room at the Ambassador Hotel Oklahoma City – Autograph Collection, Skirvin Hilton, Colcord Hotel, AC Hotel Bricktown or The Fordson Hotel.
